TS Sports Installs 8 Video Displays in Spring 2014

TS Sports is proud to announce they have installed 8 video displays in Spring 2014 for various Minor League Baseball Teams – including the Durham Bulls, Tulsa Drillers, El Paso Chihuahuas, and Albuquerque Isotopes. TS Sports is a cutting edge audio/video integration company that specializes in complete high resolution video solutions.

In addition to upgrades to their video displays, Durham Bulls Athletic Park underwent extensive renovations, including a brand new field, new seats, and new lighting. This $19 million dollar project was completed in time for Opening Day on April 3, 2014. TS Sports installed a massive HD “Blue Monster” display that measures 25.4’ (h) x 63’ (w), a LED Wall Display measuring 6.5’ (h) x 327.6’ (w), and a Club Level Fascia measuring 3.2’ (h) x 119.8’ (w). Approximately 3,838,464 LEDs were included in the project.

“We cannot wait to show off the DBAP in 2014,” said Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling. “These new video displays will take our game presentation to a whole new level and combined with all of our off-season renovations, they will help to build on the ballpark’s reputation as one of the finest in all of baseball.”

The Tulsa Drillers also received upgrades to their ONEOK ballpark – including a brand new LED Ribbon Display that measures 3.15’ (h) x 449.4’ (w) with a total of 986,112 LEDs.

“I am so excited to work with everyone at TS Sports again on our Suite Level Fascia project. The installation of 450’ of fascia at ONEOK Field for the 2014 season is a one of a kind project for a Minor League ballpark. The wow factor that it will provide our fans is going to take our game experience to a new level!” spoke General Manager of the Drillers, Mike Melega.

TS Sports also installed several displays for the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University Park – a brand new ballpark in downtown El Paso. The $72 million dollar ballpark took around 18 months to complete. TS Sports installed a HD video display measuring 28.35’ (h) x 58.8’ (w) and a first and third base ribbon display both measuring 3.15’ (h) x 58.8’ (w). There are a total of 1,892,352 LEDS with the project.

“We are excited to showcase TS Sports’ video board technology in El Paso’s new downtown ballpark. This screen will be a major component of the first class experience we intend to deliver to our guests. It’s great to be working with a company that shares our passion for quality and delivering a memorable customer experience,” spoke El Paso Chihuahuas President, Alan Ledford.

The Albuquerque Isotopes also entrusted TS Sports to install a top of the line video display for their Isotopes Park. This $1 million dollar investment was completed in time for Opening Day on April 11, 2014. The enormous display measures 34.65’ (h) x 54.6’ (w) and has a total of 1,757,184 LEDs.

“Fans are going to walk into Isotopes Park and say ‘WOW’ when they see this board. We are taking the best ballpark in the Minor Leagues and making it ever better. Our fans are really going to be proud of this board,” spoke Albuquerque Isotopes General Manager, John Traub.
