Garry and Kim Waldrum founded TS Sports (formerly Texas Star) in 1997. The Company started with humble beginnings and an innate knowledge of the sign industry. Garry grew up working for a family business specializing in the installation of static signs around the United States.
In late 2008, TS Sports made an exclusive commitment to represent Lighthouse LED video displays. The decision to exclusively represent one LED product in the industry provided TS Sports with the credibility it needed to compete at the highest level.
From 2010 – 2012, TS Sports established a reputation of bringing innovative solutions to sports and entertainment facilities around the country. The Company secured contracts from the University of Connecticut, the University of Oregon, TCU, Michigan, the Bradley Center, BC Place and JELD-WEN Field in that timeframe.

Longer LED Video and Scoring Warranty – The industry standard for LED video and scoring parts warranty is two years. TS Sports provides a five year parts warranty with our proposal, at no additional charge. An additional three year warranty provides our clients with peace of mind. We stand behind what we install and back it up with the longest warranty in the industry.
On-Site Service Package – TS Sports provides two annual on-site health checks as part of our base proposal, at no additional charge, to the client. A health check includes the testing, repairing and cleaning of all LED video and scoring systems provided in the proposal. The health check usually occurs 1-2 weeks before the first event of the 2nd and 3rd seasons of use.
Longer System Life –Through the use of top quality manufacturing partners, TS Sports systems are consistently outlasting and outperforming displays from our competitors; thus allowing our clients to benefit from a faster and more lucrative ROI. The better the displays look, the more advertising opportunities our clients have. The longer the displays last, the more money each display will make.
Garry Waldrum – Chief Executive Officer
Garry has been in sales and marketing since his mid-twenties learning all the facets from his father and uncles in a family-owned sign business. Garry has also worked in the sign industry handling sales of national accounts. It is here he learned the keys to opening doors and closing deals.
Garry and his wife Kim started TS Sports in the late 1990’s building the business to have a reputation of quality products sold at a fair price. He has functioned in all aspects of the business from sales, project management and even helping to manufacture the product in the warehouse.
Garry and wife Kim have been married for 37 years having raised their 3 children; Allison, and twin boys Brent and Blake. They’re also proud of their grandchildren Maddox and Mason.
Garry and his wife are members of Irving Bible Church.
Matt Ritter- VP Sales and Marketing
Matt leads TS Sports’ Sales and Marketing team providing clients with in-depth product knowledge, unmatched customer service and a superior buying experience.
With a strong knowledge in both sales and marketing, Matt’s responsible for all aspects of the sales process – Customer Relations, Sales Management, Estimating, Proposing, Presenting, Contract Management and Marketing.
Under his leadership the company has expanded its market presence into many sports and entertainment facilities including the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, CFL, Formula 1, NCAA, AHL, and Minor League Baseball.
Matt Ritter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Dallas Baptist University. He’s an active member of Fielder Road Baptist Church and resides in Dalworthington Gardens, Texas with his wife, Allison, and two boys, Maddox and Mason.
